Facilities for Backpackers, Walkers and Cyclists

From past experience Backpacking, Walking and Cycling can take it out of you. We offer 10 private rooms with ensuite, Flat screen Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We do not offer dorm rooms so you can relax and make the most of your stay. We provide all of the linen and towels so you don't need to worry about a thing except getting a good nights sleep! We also provide a secure luggage area, indoor drying area, ironing station and laundry services and plenty of tourist information to get you on your way!

Internet

Wi-Fi is free of charge throughout your stay. If you don't have a laptop don't worry we have a free internet station in the Sun Lounge. An ideal opportuntiy to catch up on your emails!

No Curfew

You will be issued with a front door key when you check in. This gives you the flexibility to come and go as you please and explore this fantastic Seaside destination. We do ask that you keep the noise to a minimum on an evening and when returning from a night out and respect the other guests. We aim to provide a good nights sleep for all of our guests!.

Dining Room

We have a spacious Dining Room. Breakfast is included in the price so choose from a cereal and toast, scrambled egg or the Full English. We also provide basic self catering facilities for simple meals and snacks. You will find a combination microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge to use. We offer complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate throughtout the day. This facilitiy is open until 10pm on an evening. Please advise us of any dietary requests.

Sun Lounge

The Sun Lounge is the hub of the Backpackers. It offers comfortable sofas, free internet, Freeview TV, DVD and a well stocked bookcase. Put your feet up after a long day of exploring and grab the chance of relaxing in your living room!

Basement Games Room

We have a Basement Games Room open until 10pm. This has a full sized pool table, gaming machines, table top games and bean sofas! We do not have a bar but feel free to bring along a few beers to drink and chill out. New for 2010 a Nintendo Wii to make the most of!
